We understand that people love to experiment. After all, those experiments may actually lead to something remarkably useful. With this experiemnt, though, we’re not exactly sure why anyone would need to put 26 GPS units in their car. Even if you’re testing the usefulness of one versus another, perhaps you only test two at a time? maybe we’re just being safe, but that’s not a bad thing, right?
![26 GPS Units Installed in One Car, Were Lost as to Why [Video] GPS Units 540x303](http://cdn.slashgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/GPS-Units-540x303.jpg)
But wait, this isn’t just an experiment, per se. No, this is actually art, made for your viewing pleasure by an artist named Garvin Nolte. As he puts it, “The video installation ‘Crossroads (what to do)’ deals with the influence of others onto one’s own path of life in an abstract way.” We’ll definitely agree that this is abstract. And, we will admit that the idea is pretty cool. We all know what it’s like to be lost, and perhaps having a whole squadron of GPS units in your car isn’t a bad thing. Though, we don’t recommend driving –anywhere– with them actually installed on your windshield. That wouldn’t be good for anyone. And with all those voices telling you to turn right, you may just freak out under the pressure. Check out the video below if you’ve got nothing to do for the next nine minutes.
